CHRISTMAS TREE DOODLE

FIRE TIRE COASTERS
This project is a kid and parent favorite! Everyone loves playing with FIRE! We highly recommend supervision for this art project....obviously!
These tiles are made from simple ceramic tiles you find at the hardware store like Home Depot. Pick any size! We recommend the 4x4 plain tiles because they are about $.08 each...100 tiles @$8.00!
They are easy to make with colored sharpies. And/OR you can buy alcohol inks at the hobby store. The video tutorial shows you the variety with sharpies or inks.
The most important part to this project is done with adult supervision AND sealing the tiles up with a sealer. You can buy a variety of sealers in the spray paint aisle at the hobby or hardware store. They come in matte, shiny, glitter, and more! We recommend a shiny sealer to make them shine!
Why these make a great gift? Because they are gorgeous and affordable! It's difficult to mess them up. Make a set of four and wrap them up for your favorite people.
To make the tiles you'll need these supplies:
- Ceramic Tiles
- 91% Alcohol (do not buy a lesser percentage!) & spray bottle
- Sharpies and/or alcohol inks (we like Tim Holtz with a coupon!)
- Gold leafing pen (optional for that bling)
- Felt bottom or bumpers to prevent scratching on tables
